A Year before COVID, I convinced myself I was finally going to start a blog. Then life happened—as it usually does. Two kids, school events, work, appointments, sports, endless laundry, and everything else that comes with raising a family. Sound familiar?

I’m just a mom trying to navigate this wonderfully messy thing we call life. I share my home with some pretty incredible (and occasionally chaotic) humans, a house full of pets, and more thoughts than I know what to do with.

Now I’m finding my way back.

After an incredible surrogacy journey, navigating postpartum depression, and rediscovering who I am outside of everyone else’s needs, I realized it was finally time to create the space I’d always dreamed about.

This blog is exactly that—my little corner of the internet where I’ll share the real stuff. The funny moments, the hard ones, the victories, the lessons, and everything in between. My hope is that you’ll laugh with me, maybe cry a little, and leave with a reminder that none of us have life completely figured out.

Here are just a few of the adventures we’ll dive into:

  • What’s it like being a bisexual woman married to an amazing (and very much a Scorpio) lesbian?
  • What’s it like raising an incredible daughter on the autism spectrum?
  • What’s it like being two moms raising the only boy in a house where even the pets are girls?
  • What’s it like serving as an elected official while juggling family, advocacy, and everyday life?
  • And, of course, all the beautifully imperfect moments that happen in between.

Life isn’t always picture-perfect, and honestly, I wouldn’t want it to be. It’s messy, loud, exhausting, hilarious, and full of love.

So, grab a cup of coffee, get comfortable, and come along for the ride. I’m so glad you’re here.
